ミャンマーYMCA支援募金

2021年2月1日のミャンマー国軍によるクーデターに抗議する多くの市民デモに対し治安部隊が発砲し、死傷者や拘束される人びとが増大しています。横浜YMCAは30年以上にわたり、ミャンマーYMCA同盟及びミャンマー各地YMCAと無医村地域や災害地域への移動診療活動やラーニングセンターの運営などを行ってきました。
ミャンマーYMCAは、COVID-19で厳しい社会状況の中も、青年たちとともに医療支援や教育支援を継続してきました。情勢が悪化するミャンマーで、これ以上の被害が出ないことを祈ります。
ミャンマーYMCAを通じて、ミャンマーの市民のいのちと安全を守るための支援募金を行います。

The number of people killed, wounded, and detained has been increasing as security forces have opened fire on many civil demonstrations protesting the coup d'etat by the Myanmar military on February 1. For more than 30 years, the Yokohama YMCA has been working with the Myanmar YMCA Alliance and various YMCAs in Myanmar to provide mobile medical care to areas where there are no doctors and disaster areas, and to operate learning centers.
With COVID-19, the Myanmar YMCA has continued to provide medical and educational support to the youth of Myanmar despite the harsh social conditions. As the situation in Myanmar worsens, we hope that no more damage will occur.
Through the Myanmar YMCA, we will be making an emergency relief donation to protect the lives and safety of the citizens of Myanmar.
