The Principle

The teaching

Bilingual Kids sets out to achieve the objective over a four-year period.
To that end the teachers apply their talents and skills, drawing on the methods and resources of a sturdy and time-tested curriculum, in concordance with their experience of teaching and of bilingual living.
Thanks to their knowledge and empathy, those teachers offer invaluable guidance. Their teaching rests on two pillars:

-sentence-reading (syntax, grammar, punctuation, diction)
-paragraph-reading (comprehension, understanding of narrative construction)
-establishing parallels and using comparison (considering facts and fiction, reality and fantasy)
-exploring the world of thoughts words and ideas found in books.

II-Interaction, expression, organisation and fulfilment in the context of our micro-society
At this stage, the students are given freedom and must make good use of their autonomy. It is their time, their chance to give significance and relevance to their learning.
At this stage, through projects and play, the students will identify their interests, will seek information, organise their research, and collaborate with their peers. On the whole, they will engage in:
-Casual interaction testing their abilities and resourcefulness
-Using humour and other funny articulations of the mind
-Experiencing tensions and conflict
-Experiencing bonding through team work, solidarity, common goals and a common passion: English...
