富士山YMCA グローバル・エコ・ヴィレッジのFujisan YMCA Global Eco Villageについては下記をご覧ください。

The Eco Village, friendly facilities for both people and environment, is a global project of the Yokohama YMCA. The Yokohama YMCA has had camping programs for about 100 years, so it started the grand global project aiming at 100 years ahead. The premises are 110 acres, which is about as large as nine Tokyo Domes. From the premises you can see the top of Mt. Fuji as well as the Izu Peninsula and the Suruga Bay in a far perspective.

-Main Hall (dining hall: accommodating 120 persons)
The frame was made of home-grown cedars, the Shiraito. This hall has a high ceiling and big windows. This space will make you feel free and relaxed. It can accommodate up to 120 people. Even in the depth of winter it is very warm due to the fireplace and the floor heating. The decks command a splendid view. On a clear day you can see the top of Mt. Fuji as well as the Izu Peninsula and the Suruga Bay in a far perspective. You can use it as a dining hall as well as a training room or a place for a conference. You can borrow necessary items such as a projector, a movable amplifier, a whiteboard, etc. You may use this hall as any kind of meeting place.(training) study meeting / conference, etc. as well as a dining room.

The building type A has a twin room with a loft, a lavatory and a washstand, accommodating up to 4 persons. The building type B has a room for a group with 6 single beds. The number of rooms for the type A and the type B buildings is 6 each. Each of the rooms is barrier-free from the entrance. On its roof is installed a solar panel, which is a symbol of the Eco Village. During the day time the electricity here is generated by the sun (natural energy). An air-conditioner, a towel hanger, dress hangers and lockers are equipped in all the rooms.

-Log Cabin
The Canadian Log Houses are cool in summer and warm in winter, so they are suitable for kids camping or families. There are two log cabins. Each has three rooms for 8 to 10 persons. Each room is connected by a door with a lock, so, if necessary, you can unlock all the doors and use the entire cabin, as a hall or for a meeting. Each room has futons, a lavatory, a washstand, an air conditioner, a towel hanger, dress hangers, and lockers. Around the cabins spread the wide grassy plains, which will make you feel free and relaxed.

-Green Chapel
This is a serene space used as a place for worship or meeting. You may hear birds chirping and see the green grass of the plains giving your eyes a calm feeling, as well as the Ohsawa-kuzure (a big-scale crater), which is a symbol of the magnificent Mt. Fuji. If you want to feel a sense of unity with nature, you will get one here. (You should visit this place!)

-Camp Fire Site
You can use it for a night program during the camping or outdoor activities (such as day campings). The site accommodates up to 100 people. The chairs here are movable, so you can change the diameter of a fire circle. Bunches of firewood can be ordered. Let's sit around a fire and enjoy singing and playing under the sparkling stars.
